Night Life on Beale Steet
Not knowing much about the better Memphis food establishments, I trusted that my friends knew of some. So for lunch, we headed down to the world famous Beale Street. Home of B.B. Kings Restaurant, Blues City Cafe and Dyer's Burgers. Now we ended up at Dyer's Burgers for food, and let me just say it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Supposedly their "secret" is that they've been using the same cooking grease for decades. And that the only cleaning it gets is a daily straining. Whatever they do, I hope they never change it. Damn good burger.
